Kurre Luber, MD is a double board-certified orthopedic surgeon with over a decade of experience, specializing in Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine.  His commitment to excellence has earned him the title of Best Orthopaedic Surgeon in the “Best of Oxford” awards for five consecutive years (2020–2024).

He graduated with honors from the University of Mississippi.  Afterwards, he earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine and completed a five-year Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he was elected Chief Resident.  Dr. Luber further advanced his expertise through three prestigious trauma and sports medicine fellowships: AO International Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery in York, England and Sports Medicine at both the Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine and Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center.

Currently, Dr. Luber serves as the Team Orthopaedic Surgeon for Ole Miss Athletics, Delta State University Athletics and dozens of local high schools, providing expert care for collegiate and high school athletes.  His patients also include elite professional athletes from the United States Olympic Teams, WNBA, NBA, NFL, and MLB.

An educator at heart, Dr. Luber has shared his expertise as an Associate Master Instructor at the AAOS Orthopedic Learning Center in Chicago, mentoring orthopedic surgeons worldwide and lecturing at orthopedic conferences.
